Triton's NEW Faceplate

Introducing Kashmir

At Empire Ears, we hold ourselves to the highest standards—not just in sound, but in the materials and craftsmanship behind every monitor we build. When something doesn’t live up to those standards, we improve it.

Triton’s original faceplate material was chosen for its bold, dynamic look. Over time, however, we observed that it could be prone to delamination—a separation of resin layers that impacts both durability and visual consistency—due to manufacturer inconsistencies in the raw material itself. While the issue has affected only a small number of units, that’s not good enough for us.

So, we’ve made a change—and the result is Kashmir!

Kashmir is the new faceplate material for all Triton IEMs. It’s tougher, more stable, and just as visually arresting. Where Triton takes its name from the god of the deepest seas, Kashmir draws inspiration from the volcanic vents of the ocean floor—where magma and ocean meet in roiling chaos. Each piece captures that energy, depth, and movement—without compromising structural integrity.

All new Triton units will feature the upgraded Kashmir faceplate, and any units sent in for repair that require disassembly will receive the upgrade at no additional cost.

This isn’t just a materials update—it’s part of our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering gear that looks as extraordinary as it sounds.

Thank you for your ongoing trust and support.
