At the heart of ODIN MKII’s low end lies a pair of next-generation 9 mm W9+ dynamic subwoofers.  Engineered in-house, the W9+ subwoofers anchor the low end with focused depth and control. They deliver bass that’s tight and textured—powerful yet poised—so you feel the rhythm in your chest without ever overwhelming the nuance above.

Precision Balanced Armature Drivers

Five balanced-armature units handle midrange and treble with warmth and clarity. Dual mid drivers preserve the natural character of vocals and instruments, while the trio of high drivers adds sparkle and speed—revealing fine detail without fatigue.

Ethereal Electrostatic Transducers

Twin electrostatic elements, powered by EIVEC MKII, lift the upper registers into open air. These ultra-fast transducers bring ultra-high frequencies to life with breathtaking transparency, spaciousness, and micro-detail—creating an ethereal listening experience.

Bone Conduction Resonance

6061-T6 Aluminum  - Aerospace Grade Durability

Each ODIN MKII shell is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, prized for its strength-to-weight ratio and natural dampening. Anodized in matte black, it serves as both fortress and foundation—protecting the inner architecture while lending a reassuring tactility that vanishes once the music begins.

24k Gold Detailing

Refinement meets quiet regality. ODIN MKII’s faceplates and logo are plated in pure 24 karat gold, offering a subtle contrast against the black chassis. Beyond aesthetics, the gold symbolizes purity, prestige, and permanence—qualities befitting a flagship born of artistry and passion.

synX Crossover Network

At the core of ODIN MKII’s unity is our 10-way synX crossover network. It seamlessly blends four distinct driver technologies across eleven drivers, preserving timing, phase, and dynamics so each transducer performs at its absolute peak without compromise.

ARC - Anti-resonance Control

To preserve purity of performance, ODIN MKII incorporates ARC, a proprietary anti-resonance coating applied to critical internal components and acoustic pathways. This ensures a darker background, tighter transients, and minimal structural coloration—letting the music’s true character shine.

Dual Conduction Architecture (DCA)

EIVEC MKII was developed to ensure optimal timing, phasing and control between the electrostatic and bone conductor – a monumental achievement.

Empire Intelligent Variable Electrostatic Control – EIVEC - is Empire’s approach to incorporating electrostatic EST drivers into IEMs. For all the incredible range and resolution, electrostatic drivers are notoriously hard to control, often overpowering other drivers. EIVEC is our solution to that, and the degree of control provided by EIVEC is so precise that the electrostatics can operate independently, performing disparate tasks within the sound stage to deliver layer upon layer of detail and texture for unparalleled performance.

KVASIR - The Cable of Poets

Named for Kvasir—the being born of the combined wisdom of the Aesir and Vanir—this cable channels the very spirit of inspiration. In myth, Kvasir’s blood became the fabled Mead of Poetry, bestowing creativity and insight upon all who tasted it. Our KVASIR cable mirrors that legacy: four strands of gold, silver, and copper conductors are intricately braided in a wholly unique quadbrid geometry, delivering each musical detail as if whispered by the gods themselves.

The matte black hardware and subtly etched Valknut on the Y-splitter echo ancient runic art, while the 2-pin barrels and 4.4 mm termination bear a discreet “EMPIRE” signature—a reminder that true artistry flows from the subtlest details.
